It was one of those nights. I had been watching too much news. I read too much about the bailout. My sleep led me to a wonderful dream about Mick Jagger. Any dream with Mick Jagger can be fun, but this was especially fun. He had just received a check from a client of mine for an endorsement deal.
This same client owed me money and hadn't paid me. Mick said, no problem. "She just gave me $50K. I can lend you what you need to pay your quarterlies to catch up. If she pays you, pay me back, if not, don't worry about it. I wont miss the money and don't really need more."
WOW! This was fantastic. Not only did I get free money as a loan, but I didn't have to pay it back. How cool. Then, he asked, "When do you want to go to the IRS? We can go today or Saturday if they are open and I'll write them a check for you."
Double WOW! I was concerned that he would be mobbed on a Friday so Saturday was better. He thanked me for my thoughtfulness.
Then, sniff, sniff, I WOKE UP! Doggone it! Not only did I wake up but had that doom feeling.
I'm sure that some dream analyst would say Mr. Jagger represents the Democrats and the bail out plan. I'll buy that. I was glad Mr. Jagger was my liberal-representation of choice rather than Eminem or Moby!
