Last night I felt the need to tune out and wander around iTunes. I was looking through the collections and found some from the 1930's. I actually found three or four that brought back wonderful memories of favorite movies.
I started with Fred Astaire singing, "Cheek to Cheek" and moved on to Judy Garland with, of course, "Over the Rainbow." There were a few others. My husband laughed at my new collection of odd beats and styles.
From the 30's I moved onto Gloria Estefan - don't ask the path there - I'm just there. I was in the mood for a few true Latin beat songs. So what if they are in Spanish. They really helped me keep my rhythm today while designing a few new sites. I also had a bit of help from Blondie, Earth Wind and Fire and a few others.
I need all the help I can get from my headphones. I'm on a serious deadline to finish six sites in two weeks. One was just approved today! Another was approved two days ago. It's going to be a crazy, wonderful summer.
We are escaping to the Dechutes tomorrow for three days of unplugged camping. Unplugged meaning NO COMPUTER/EMAIL, not electricity. Hey, that's why we bought a trailer.
I'll be taking Fred, Gloria, Judy and Debbie with me this time.
