Last night we were enjoying the first p art of, "The Fifth Element" -- the part before Chris Tucker's annoying appearance. Today I was reminded of a scene and the movie actually helped me get through it with a smile.
I was at the back of the house in my closet searching for a shoe. Through the walls, down the hall I could here the excited, loud, nearly nonsensical chatter from our son. Apparently his sister did SOMETHING to antagonize him. It was non-stop, confused, angry, frustrated all at once. Usually it would send me stomping to the front room to shout back telling him to, "STOOOOPPPPPP IIIIIIIT!"

After watching the movie last night, I was able to smile and chuckle to myself because it sounded like the male version of "Leeloo" when she was trying to explain her situation to the medical/government team after her "reassembly." Also when she fell into the roof of the cab and met Bruce Willis. She was quoted as saying, "Leeloo Minai Lekarariba-Laminai-Tchai Ekbat De Sebat."
I think that's what our son was saying, or some variation. Perhaps I should have hunted for some "thermal tape" for his head!
This was the lighter part of the day with him. It was not a fun day.
